i was given this little hen, had her nearly 12 months, the fella had some oeg bantams in silver duckwing and some modern bantams in slver &gold duckwings that got out and have been free range for a while so obviously she is a cross. i haven't seen one this colour before and was wundering if anyone had a discription for the colouring and what you thought are in general. i know the cross would be frowned upon by breeders of pure chickens but she is what she is and thought she was interesting.



her face is very dark and mulberry in colour, the photo makes it look lighter than it usualy looks, also her skin is dark also, but i do not know how this came about as there is nothing out there with the others that even resembles this colour at all???

She is definitely a Modern Game cross. Since she is a mix, her variety doesn't fit any recognized variety exactly, but in my opinion, she resembles Golden Duckwing the most.
