    i have 7 chickens and getting 2 eggs a day they have plenty of watter they are all a year and a half but they are lossing some feathers. are they going thro a molt they arnt loosing a ton of feather but a good amount and they dont have mites

    Have they ever molted before? If you see no mites, then I would suspect that they are molting. That is common in birds over a year of age, and is perfectly normal. Molting will cause egg production to decrease for a while, though.

    ok ty i dont think they have molted before but dont know for sure. and they arnt lossing that many feathers there are just feathers all over the coop
