What do you transport chickens?

So, I have a rooster, and we have to return it to the place we got it at. What should I put her in in the car? Should I just do a box? Or a pet carrier?

I would use a pet carrier.

How old/large is the bird? That will play into what you can easily and best transport him in. If you have a carrier that is the right size, that would be my first choice.

We think that he is about 9 weeks.

You can use a pet carrier, a plastic tub with holes cut in it, or a cardboard box.
