feeders and water continers.... im in uk and my friend has used milk bottle tops but they tip them over and anything bigger theyl drown in so any ideas pleaase?

ty for your help, however we do not have a shop near me that specialises in QuailsThere are special quail waterers at the feed store, just ask the staff. Any bowl or short container is fine for a feeder. Feed them game bird feed/high protein.
Have you thought of poultry nipples?
for button quail use the lid to any jar like a peanut butter jar or mayo. place small clean stones or marbles in the lid and fill with water. this keeps the chicks from falling into the water and getting a chill and if you use marbles they are attracted to the shiny balls and find the water easier. I used a chicken chick waterer for them after the first week or so and just placed the marbles around the edge so they wouldn't get wet or cause the water to get too dirty. good luck.
You can use a candle lid and put a 2in diameter glass in the middle. I do that for coturnix chicks.
