What do you use for the floor of your coop?

Lakecountychick, your coop sounds very similar to mine except that mine is less than a foot off the ground. I was planning on placing cardboard underneath it to catch the droppings. I like the scrub brush suggestion for the wire, and I'm glad to hear that it is easy to clean.
I think I will leave the areas under the roosts bare and put straw on the rest-though I do like that rubber mat idea if I can find one.

I put linoleum remnants from Lowes on top of my plywood. I use the deep bedding method (pine shavings and straw)...one bag and one bale for a 12x12 space. My hens spend about 16 hr in the coop and 8 hr free-ranging and I haven't had to clean anything yet...once a week I fluff up the bedding and every 3 days under the roosts. So far it is dry and no smell or flies.
