What do you use to guard your flock?

Electrified fence 6 ft tall set in cement, nightly lockdown, and shotgun. First two work so well that I never needed the 3rd one.

We have a couple animals that help keep our chickens and ducks safe. Our coop and run is enclosed with 2x4 welded wire fencing.

This is Trixy she is relaxing on top of the run. She keeps all of the stray cats away and the little tiny birds that like to eat our feed.

This is our australian cattle dog/lab/pit/chow mix that keep watch over the ducks and chickens.

Our lab really could careless about the chickens and ducks but if something comes in the yard then she is after it.
