My mom asked for ideas to get our entire family gifts just this morning. I can't think of a single thing. It's not because we don't want stuff, it's that we don't need stuff. I'm content with what we have, and if we need anything, I try to get it second-hand. Every now and then we think we'd like a Wii, but that's too big of a gift to ask for.

I asked my mom for some of her extra pots and pans she doesn't use very much anymore. I'm so excited that she's going to give me a bunch! She even has a wok she's going to give us! To top that off she's even going to toss in a mixing bowl! Its almost more satisfying that we are getting things that she has on hand (and that we could really use) then if the stuff was new. She's getting eggs.

Other than that, a pitch fork would be handy. Well, a years worth of free electricity and food would be handy, too.

I hope you all have a peace filled season, or at least a day or 2 free from the worries we all have.
