What do your girls do if a snake gets in the coop?

I'm pretty sure my girls have cleaned out just about any snake that was on the main property...I've seen them running away with little ones and once my biggest Buff Orp went prancing through the yard with probably a 3 1/2 footer dangling from her beak one day...between my chickens, barn cat and runner duck I'm pretty sure we are predator and varmint free..squirrels=GONE, ticks=GONE, snakes=GONE, fire ants=GONE!!

We have relocated 7 rat snakes over 4 feet so far this spring. DH has been bitten 3 times, me just once.

The chickens just ignore them.

I'm terrified of snakes...that thing just about made me hurt myself! A wonder my blood pressure didn't get so high I passed out!

I had a snake in the tree in my chicken yard 4 or 5 years ago, then I got the Guineas, and no more snakes!! The guineas kill them so I don't ever deal with them! I believe every chicken house needs guineas to protect the chickens!
