What does a baby splash look like?

I like that splash color a lot. My next order will have to have a few splashes in it. Nice pics.

My splash and silver gened whites hatch out exactly the same color. There is a huge difference between those and the regular whites at hatching... those have almost a yellowish tinge. At about 2-3 weeks you will start to see black or blue feathers intermixed in the wing feathers coming in on the splash. I have some that retain that lavendar/light bluish until they are 4-5 months and then first get colored feathers too then.

This is one of my splash chicks at about a month old.... a white right behind it:

Then at about 3-4 months they turn into this:

And then at 8-10 months:

Its just like a dalmation....they don't get all their spots til fully mature!
