What does everyone do with all the xtra males

upload some phone-pix and post on Craig's List, Farm & Garden For sale, we do really well on Craigs list even though Raleigh-Durham are the two largest cities around here, there's lots of farm folk and bird fanciers all around rurally. That's the only way to scare up some sales. You also have the free Ebay classifieds ads, which also can have photos uploaded tothem. Photos really sell the birds, since they are so extravagantly colored. There's the utube garm guy who has a piece on yellow goldens that he interviews a breeder about how small, tame and easy to raise they are, for a first time bird person. We sell our heritage breed turkeys there, used to sell our goat kids. I don't have any extra pheasants to sell, I am in a project to raise certain birds for the feathers of particular colors. I was given 2 YG hens and was afraid of getting cinnamons if I bred them to my RG males, but advice said that YG are a mutation of RG, so the hens can only produce RG babies if bred to a RG male. great, but I was told by another breeder that a RG bred to YG would give me a less-c0olorful Cinnamon phase, which was undesirable. Now, I see these Peach pheasants, and wanted to know what I could breed to get them?
But, don't put male birds in a pen together unless you know that they get along. We found our first home-raised male RG having his head half eaten off by the older male in the pen, hte ohter baby was traumatized, but he's okay now, in fact, he'd probably kick that old boy's butt now! But we never put any boys together without beingin the pen with them, or spend hours close to them to watch, or put our video surveillance cams in there to watch. Theyfight quietly, but it can be deadly. We lost a hen who got pecked by we don't know who one night. We should not have put her in with strange birds. Some RG and Lady Amherst get along great. I am told YG are nice too. I just know that the hybrdi I had killed the baby RG male at jus 5 months of age. My dead hen was only 7 months old but she wnet int with several males and older females plus her sisters. You just don't take the chance, when it's easy enough to split a coop with some fence pieces, and to break up a pen they share by dividing it VISUALLY with brush, boxes, flooring pieces, anything so that the birds can "hide" from each others direct line of sight and feel protected behind things, besides having their own things to jump up onto, which is how they like to spend the day, plus some dirtbathing. They might all sleep together at night on one roost and then next day attack each other. Just be watchful.

How are you doing with the extra male Red and yellow golden. What are you asking for them and would it be possible to get a picture?
Thank you,

Hi Hunterartwork,
Yes they have all been raised together so I don't have any fighting. I will post pix of them on here as soon as I can.
Thanks Everyone
