We are going to make a coop out of a carport. They support the sides. The roof will be green and the trim will be either cream or white. It will house 8 runs. Prob enough for 80 chickens. LOL! IDK!

I would want them farther from the house than your carport. Well, I guess all carports aren't attached to the house then are they. But if yours is, the chickens will draw flies and the smell is bad too.

I wouldn't like 80 birds in a coop attached to my house.

If you don't mind my asking, how much does something like that go for? If you don't want to post it, you can pm me. That is a wonderful idea! I wouldn't need anything that big, maybe half that size. Well done!

Thank you!

It's an 18 X 36, and altogether I have about $3000 in it.
A lot of that was the extra metal and framework to enclose the ends.
Inside there are 2 large stalls, and a 5 ft walkway that goes the full length

Also, what you cant see in the pics is a 6 ft wide X 30 ft long "shed" overhang on the back side where the sheep feeders are

Around here you can get a 12 X 18 for about $600-700.
That includes delivery and set up.

Of course , with mine, they did the basic set up, and I did the end enclosures and interior myself

Hope you don't mind me posting this price since poeple don't wan't that big. I am the one who started the post if your woundering.

A smaller one with only 4 spaces between the support bars.

Sorry,

It will be atleast sept-oct before we get it we just bought a dune buggy.
