what does it mean when a rooster kicks the hens out of coop??

We recently purchased 6 hens yesturday, and a rooster. 3 of our hens went into the coop at dusk. Our rooster then went in and pushed them back out. Does. Our dominant. Hen need. To lead the way? Maybe more time is needed? Please help.
