well, she is RIP now, I dont know why she died... The diahrrea has that awful smell which to me is cocci, but I'm not the most experienced. I dont know why my adult birds have caught it, but my local feed store guy says there is some awful cocci going around. I will use ammonia tomorrow instead of bleach. First though, is to bio-secure my run. I have 7 week silkies and layers from 3-7weeks old in another part of the run, and they seem to be in good health. We have seen many wild birds go in and out of the layer hen area, so I am pretty sure whatever it is that got my brahmin, it came from wild birds. I wasn't able to spend time in the coop the past two weeks as my cranky workaholic pop in law in law was over and we were busy on other projects. I feel bad that I didnt notice or catch the problem sooner.
