My chickens are 15 weeks old and been out in the coop since they were probably 4 weeks old. They have 2 long roosts at different heights. Nobody uses them. When we first put them out there we put a chicken cam, so we could watch them. My husband put a little piece of wood to set it on. Once we took the chicken cam out. They would fight to sit on this one piece of wood. So he put what we call shelves, and 4 of them will pile up on one shelve. I mean they are literally just about sitting on one another. They do this every night. It's really funny to see. They're crazy birds
