I see a cockerel. His coloring is very light which is common in roosters of this breed and i can just barley see some saddle feathers growing in. Sorry to say but you hen is a rooster.I'm pretty sure it's a hen. I could be wrong. This is our first year raising chickens. They are about 13 weeks right now. I'll attach some pictures.
Where about in Ohio? Some of the dog/cat type shelters will also take farm animals. You can always try to rehome him yourself. It's unfortunate roosters are generally unwanted.That's what we feared. We can't have a rooster in our area. Anyone know of rescues that will take roosters in Ohio?
