HOLY, I thought maybe like...3 posts coming back on this, and all you guys have showed off your cute, and beautiful farmhouses.

Ok, just thought I would share my home with everyone. My husband and I built our home ourselves. It took 2 years, from clearing the property to nailing all the shingles. We worked every weekend and weekday night on this place. Thankfully the kids didn't come until after we were done. Our colonial farmhouse sits on 3.75 acres with a 2 acre pond right aside it. It's wonderful during the day to hear all of the wood ducks on the pond.

Just thought I would add the photo of our front porch....saw another thread about them and figured I would show off mine. Don't look at all the pollen....I can't get rid of that yellow stuff!

BY THE WAY.....I LOVE EVERYONE'S FARM HOUSES! That includes the run down brick one with soooooo much potential!!!!

sigh.....one day I will have a porch like yours!! I absolutely LOVE the large porches, I WILL HAVE ONE!!! lol...until then, can I come swing on yours?

Thanks, northcoaster! You'll have to come visit sometime! We'll sit out by the chicken run in lawn chairs, sip ice-cold tea, and swat mosquitoes!
