What Dog?

Hi! I couldn't find a good place to start this thread so I went with this one. My brother wants a dog and we have been trying to find a hypoallergenic dog that would not hurt our chickens. I also would want a small dog. If you know any breeds that you think would be good for us, I would love it if you would let me know. Thanks!

No guarantee on whether the dog will be good with chickens-- that'll depend on individual temperament, how you raise/train the dog, etc. But I've had several hypo-allergenic dogs and Maltese and Malti-poos are both great breeds.

Right now we have a tiny dog from the local shelter-- a mutt but non-shedding and hypo-allergenic (I just can't determine what her mix is) and she is awesome with the chickens. She's outside with them often and completely ignores them. So, just want to throw that out there that it is possible to find a good dog from a shelter that still meets your needs.
