What Duck breed is best for a pet and gets along well with chickens?

Oops my computer glitched and sent that before I finished! So what I was going to say is that I think all duck breeds have the potential to be very friendly, it all depends on how you raise them .

From what I read here on the Duck Forum, if it is all girls, then chickens and ducks together often works out. It is when drakes are present that there are risks to the health of the chickens due to equipment mismatch - drakes often try to mate with chickens.

Black runners are lovely! I have four. They did not stay black. At four years old, two are half covered in snow (white feathers) and the other two are about 30% snow.

Great personalities. I would call them intrepid.
