What duck breed is this?

    We were told we were getting a call duck, obviously this isnt a call duck.

    You've got yourself a gorgeous Muscovy!

    Pretty ironic since Call Ducks are tiny and Muscovies are massive.

    It's either a Muscovy or a Mule duck (MuscovyXmallard derived breed). Anyway, he/she is gorgeous. That's kind of odd that someone would say that it's a call duck [​IMG].

    If i saw someone selling a duck like that they could call it a turkey and i'd still buy it! [​IMG] Thats one fine looking bird!

    nice looking muscovy male I have one just like it free for the taking. I love my muscovies they are very hearty and make hardly any noise at all

    My guess would have been muscovy also, but it seems everyone already answered the question. But you can add my vote to the tally.
