Most ducks will be good for your slugs.
Do you have Storey's Guide to Raising Ducks? That has an excellent breed info section. It can really help in finding the better breeds for your purposes.
He listed my Anconas as "active foragers" which is true. I didn't realize how true it was until I added a Buff duck - who is still a great foraging machine. Once I saw how they are in comparison with another breed I understood just how active they were.
