What ducks do you have????!!!!

I'm a glutton for punishment so I love having ducks on the farm. We are actually debating getting ducks again this spring.

Downside is they are VERY VERY VERY messy compared to chickens and eat so much food. They're fun to have around just plan for the mess. Everything turns into caked poop quickly if you're not careful!

I have 3 female Muscovy ducks and yes you absolutely should get some they are amazing, in my opinion they are some of the friendliest poultry. Their body language is very different from normal ducks, so they are very entertaining to watch all day long! They also don't quack like normal ducks so they won't ever be waking you up by being too loud, and they keep the mosquito population in the yard down.

I have Muscovy, Runners an Buffs. Muscovy are very calm an quiet. Have sweet personalities. My Runners an Buffs are like the clowns of the barnyard always busy and silly. Love them all❤️

I had a "chunky" variety of indian runners (not full wine bottle) for the egg production but quickly found out my eldest two children are allergic to duck eggs, so I gifted those ducks to a friend who loves duck eggs and got Muscovy. SO much more people friendly than the runners and no 3-4am quacking lol
