What else eats oyster shell

I was putting up oyster shell for the first time since my golden comments are developing more quickly than the others I want to be sure that they have it free choice. I accidentally left the bag on the top of my coop overnight and something ripped it completely open. Now I have oyster shell all over the top of my chicken coop. What do you think it was?

On top of the coop, most likely raccoon or squirrel, and not necessarily eating it but looking for something to eat.
