What exactly is a ‘smooth’ or ‘satin’ silkie?

We have one chick, dominoes, who we were just guessing was a smooth, but not all of her feathers are ‘normal’ feathers. She has a lot of almost ‘silkie’ feathers, really soft downy ones almost, but a decent amount of normal feathers.
I guess my question is—What makes a silkie smooth/satin/sizzle/silkie?

A silkie is a
Silkied: typical stereotypical silkie
Satin: flat feathering
Frizzle: frizzled flat feathering
Sizzle: Frizzled silkie feathers

All types need all other silkie traits (5 toes, blue skin, walnut comb and crest)

A smooth/satin silkie is a silkie with normal feathers. A sizzle is a silkie with frizzled silkie feathers. I'm not sure what yours is, her feathers might change as she get older.

satins were once mixed with Cochin. Oh and most are moving away from the word SIZZLE and calling them SATIN instead so the word is interchangeable

A Silkie like the top left is just a Silkie. Should never be called anything different Your paint would be called a Smooth Satin. It will change a bit as it grows.

This group of pictures is very helpful. Thanks for posting it. I have six, one week old, ‘potential’ sizzles (hoping for one frizzle or sizzle) and it will be awhile before I know for sure I guess. I have one definite smooth, likely no frizzles, but two with somewhat wild silkie feathering so I’m a bit hopeful for at least one sizzle.
