What exactly is a western rustic?

Hey all, curious to see if anyone knows if a western rustic is a purebred or a hybrid? Has anyone bred these guys? What are they a cross between? Thanks!

I found this link to a Canadian hatchery that offers what they call a Western Rustic. I don't know how they made them. I strongly suspect they are some kind of multigenerational cross. Perhaps you could call Rochester Hatchery and ask.
