at what age should i be giving my chicks other food besides chick crumb and what shoul i give them

If you look on the forum, you will find a list of foods that you can feed to your babies.

I started giving my chicks treats at 1 week old. I limited how much and how often at first. Mine LOVE seedless red grapes!

I also give yogurt to keep their little digestive tracks working well. I like the greek yogurt best but any yogurt will do.
