What extras can I feed at 2-4 weeks?

Keep trying with the eggs. I thought mine hated them too but I sprinkled them on top of their regular food and that got the point across.

They devoured it last night! Thanks!

I give mine a few crumbled dried mealworms at 4 days.

Mind if I ask what brand of foods you feed?

Not at all.
I feed Purina Start & Grow medicated for 10 weeks, then when bag is empty, I switch to either Nutrina Starter Grower or Purina Start &Grow or Purina Flock Raiser crumbles. All 3 are available in Non-medicated. I get whatever is fresher or available when I'm at TSC. GC

Chickens hatch with the bulk of the knowledge they'll have in their lives already in place as they are largely instinctive animals. Aside from the peeping, the little ones behave much like the adults.

So, they will display some wariness about strange foods falling from the sky because there isn't anything natural about that. But, learned behavior occurs by repetition and they will eventually accept that this magically appearing food is edible.

Mine won’t eat the dried ones! They are 7-8 weeks. Maybe when they get older they will? They prefer the live ones that wiggle!

Same. I even tried using the same black rubber bucket that I put other treats in. Dumped a liberal amount of dried worms in there and they just took a look and walked away.

I have also done this. It has natural grit in the dirt and they love it
