What extras can I feed at 2-4 weeks?

I offered scrambled egg again as an evening treat. We shall see.

My chickens go crazy for dried mealworms! I used to give him a few of those when they were little chicks and its still their favorite treat.

Mine won’t eat the dried ones! They are 7-8 weeks. Maybe when they get older they will? They prefer the live ones that wiggle!

I have not introduced them yet but my sister’s chicks GO CRAZY for them.

Good to hear. They will start to look forward to them. They can cause looser poops, so go easy on them.

I feed a Medicated Start and Grow feed for 10 weeks. It contains everything needed to grow up healthy. I don't want to dilute the feed with treats.
Of course when I put them outside around 5 weeks old, they have access to grass, weeds, bugs and worms.
After 10 weeks I switch to a Non-Medicated Starter-Grower or All-Flock/Flock Raiser with 18/20% Protein. And that's when I offer them treats like Scratch Grains scattered around their pen. GC

I introduced a small patch of grass from the yard today. It was their first. They pecked at it but haven’t taken it apart yet.

Keep trying with the eggs. I thought mine hated them too but I sprinkled them on top of their regular food and that got the point across.
