What gamefowl breeds make the best egg layers?

American gamefowl. Oxford-type or hatchery standard Old English gamefowl.

Avoid oriental gamefowl (aseel, Malays, ect) and Sumatrans (to the extent one may consider a Sumatran a gamefowl, which is debatable). Many lines of any of those are often poor layers.

I've read Cubalayas can be pretty good layers. Not great, but better than most game fowl breeds.
