What gender and breed is my two chickens

Also why does my brown chicken make duck noises it started doing that this month,and my black and white chicken does crow.What breed and gender are they?hope my pictures are good enough to tell.

Looks like a Rhode Island Red (production) pullet and a Barred Rock cockerel. The "duck" noises are probably just the results of your adolescent pullet's voice changing from peeps to clucks.
