Hi need help! My ameraucanas were born March 20th so they’re about 6 1/2 weeks, Im wondering if they’re far enough to tell gender? I labeled chickens as #1,2,3 so please reference them as those numbers.
Thanks!!!!

1 and 2 are female
3 is a male

And actually, those are Easter Eggers :) Which is a mixed breed bred for colored eggs. True Ameraucana chickens do not look like that.

I’m guessing but I have raised Easter Eggers and full bred Ameraucana. I would say 1and 2 are hens #3 rooster due to the pinking of comb. Mostly I noticed Roos comb is pinker and their tails are taller but it’s hard to see the tails til later in age.

Wow! When I bought them they told me they were ameraucanas this is my first time having chickens so i’m not experienced really at all:hmm Would #3 being darker mean anything too? Having a rooster isn’t a option being in the city :( Thanks!!

Welcome to BYC. Indeed they are Easter Eggers rather than Ameraucanas. First two are pullets, and third may be a cockerel. There's nothing 100 % definitive on him, but the feathering SOMEWHAT indicates cockerel. Don't get rid of him just yet, but have a 'Plan B' in mind and post more pictures in several weeks.

I find with sexing easter Eggers for me ended up with brighter colors on the male and blade colored on females.
Looks like all pullets to me
