Yeah, at first glance, it looks like that to me, too. But I think that you can just barely see some reddish coloring on the birds body in certain parts of the photo. The white legs are another sign of a speckled sussex. She does look like a X with the sparse leg feathering, she also doesn't seem to have the Brahma brow!I see 2 ee hens, a Sussex rooster with some hens, and a brahma mix hen.
I would say she might be an Brahma/EE X without the ear tufts.....you'll just have to see what color eggs she lays! Either way I bet she's a good bird I love my brahma birdsYes #3 is speckled sussex, i forgot to mention. #4 was supposed to be an EE. Guess i may have picked wrong breed.
