What gender are my girls?

I started providing calcium when my girls told me they were getting ready to lay (squatting).

What exactly is squatting like I think I see my girls doing but they're too young, right (5 weeks)?

They aren't squatting yet. It's when a pullet or hen squats down, puts her tail down and spreads out flat a lot like a pancake with the wings brought out from the sides. I had never seen it before, but as soon as I saw it, I knew what it was lol.

Ask them for crushed oyster shell.I got a 50 pound bag, but it doesn't go bad so will last a while.
