What gender are my silkies?

They both look pretty much the same. I wasn't really sure because from what I read they look like roosters but act like hens. They squat more than standing tall, one loves to hangout with my road island reds while the other one is very anti-social. Please help!

If they are 4 months, then its very likely a pullet.

No sorry they are three months.

3 months is pretty iffy. With Waddles like that, I'd guess cockerel.

If they are roosters, would they mate with any other hens beside silkie hens? I just want to be prepared

Rooters will breed any hen they can catch.

Really need to see a photo of bird facing forward with crest held back, to display entire comb. Non bearded silkies like yours, will show some wattles. Bearded silkies will not.

Are your silkies hatchery birds, they often are quite a departure from the breed standard.
