Thanks for your response! I was beginning to wonder as the one BO has a bright red face and the RIR'S comb/wattles are looking thicker & redder than my last. I guess I should stop worrying now. Thanks again

By 16 weeks old, pullets are supposed to start getting more red in the combs and wattles. It means they're hitting chicken puberty.

IDK why I didn't think of that I guess I just sorta expected them all to look like that since they're the same age. We seriously need more girls! The roo we got last year was supposed to be a pullet and we lost a hen a few months back to a hawk which leaves him with just 2 hens. Thank you for your help. It is much appreciated.

Just wanted to say thank you to everyone for your helpful responses! Got our 1st eggs from our LH, BO, CM & RIR! Also, our Japanese Bantam is on the nest laying now. So exciting!
