Hi, so I have 4 young chicks who’s parents on both sides are pretty mixed with what I think is silkie/golden laced Wyandot among other breeds and now that they’re a bit older my curiosity is eating at me and I was wondering if anyone had any guesses on who might be a girl or boy😄
The first is 38 days old now
The second 33 days
The third and fourth are both 32 days old

The first 6 pictures are pullets. The last two pictures might be a cock. Update in a few weeks.
So teavana is officially 6 weeks old and the color of their comb is still throwing me, sometimes it looks more red but then it looks more orange, I want to say she’s a she though

This was her dad at the same age so if I’m comparing, her chances of being a rooster are lower

Teavana is now 8 weeks old and I’m thinking she’s probably a he? This little bird has continued to confuse me. What I thought was a little strange at first was the way “her” comb and wattles seemed to turn red but then pale again within that matter of moments but wrote off as a lighting thing is definitely NOT a lighting thing. He seems to be red more often now but continues to go pale and will go back and forth like this, I’m a little worried that if he is a boy then is this normal? Maybe a vitamin deficiency or something? He seems fine, he’s active, he drinks plenty of water and is eating fine, he dust bathes with his sisters and enjoys picking at the grass so I don’t think he’s sick but then I’m not sure what might be going on. These pictures are from just a little while ago

These were from a few days ago, he was also born a few days early with an egg sack attached (a very stressful moment for me but he pulled through) so maybe he’s just a late bloomer?
