So glad Yolkie is feeling better. Her standard feed should provide what she needs, but you could add either one to her regiment. Here is a synopsis/comparison on both.I thought I would post an update on Yolkie. I started Corid last Thursday, not really sure that's what the problem was, especially given the fact that she's 7 years old. She showed improvement so I was encouraged. However, on Saturday she regressed back to the bright red tubular shaped stools with clear fluid along with it. She refused food and I didn't see her drink at all. She was in such bad shape that when I went out to the coop on Sunday morning, I was prepared to find her dead or close to it.
To my shock and delight, she was walking around the chicken yard, her comb was much brighter and she ate and drank. I was amazed. She's doing great. No more weird stools. As someone suggested, I did cut one open just because it was so bizarre looking but it just looked tissue-like.
I'm doing the 7 day Corid treatment just because she was so sick and will follow with supplements. I have both Rooster Booster Poultry Cell and Recover 911. I read that I should use both-does that sound right?
