Hello everyone,

I recently purchased 2 chicks from a local feed store. The chicks were labeled as “Blue Plymouth Rock Chicks”. The chicks are about 3 weeks old. The chicks were also labeled pullets but I know how accurate that can be. These are the 2 chicks. I’m almost positive one is a rooster and one is a hen but I wanted a second opinion or a few opinions if possible.

Welcome to BYC! :frow

If "breed" is accurate.. they're a sex linked hybrid.. and males are barred.

I don't or can't see the head spot the other poster mentions. or barring on the wings.
Barring and head spot:

It's a bit more subtle with blue sexlinks because of single barring copy and blue gene!
