What gender are these blue wheaten ameraucanas?

I don't think it's just the lighting. Both chicks appear to be the wrong color in every picture, they should not be an orangey Buff color.

I'd PM the seller your pictures and see if he can give you any input, maybe they are the result of an accidental cross.

If they're not a mix, then they are very poorly colored and should not be used for breeding.

In the first photo I see a 100% cockerel on right, likely pullet on left. I think the confusion here is in the fact that the pullet has rather odd color, too dark really.

I looked up this La Mike and all I see are Lavender Ameraucanas and other popular colors/breeds, so I'm just going to assume they are in fact the real deal, the pullet is just a little duckwing-esque in the photos.

Yay! Thank you. It's just the camera. I used my cellphone cam. So its probably just the can & lighting. She's lighter in person I promise! Lol

I agree 100%.

On these rirbrahma they may be EE. The cockerel looks better in the legs than the hen. When I sent them as extras I told you I wasnt sure wether BW or EE. Let them grow a bit and will know for sure being wheaton sometimes take a little longer in the leg department :) The parent cock is this one without a doubt

Jean I believe the roo came from peachick as I understand. The Lavs are my stock so I know the full line on them. But the extras could be EE but its still a bit early to know for sure :) I had this hen and a not so clean hen in with him at the time. The hens with him now are great though.

yeah im with with everyone else, the darker one is a cockerel, the others is a pullet.
