What gender are these chickens?

I have two chicks that I need to find out. Both of them are 5 weeks old. I know some ways to tell like pointed feathers and such but I can't figure it out.


This is May.

They look like roosters to me....

They're too young for pointed sex feathers, at this age you go by comb and color. I agree, that's a lot of comb, and they look like they're both getting black breasts. Partridge type colored birds, only males get black breasts. I think they're both roosters.

Alright then.. I was sure hoping you guys would say these looked like hens

One of them I sold listing it as a rooster but the person that bought it from us said it laid an egg.. The other one died sadly
