They look like roos, however some things you can look for are:
- Curving tail feathers
- Shinny feathers
- Large bright red combs
- Sparring (raised hackles, and furious eye contact)

That is a beautiful hen who lays well.

I have been looking for a new SFH roo to bring in some new blood to my flock. Are you interested in parting with one of those lovely cockerels you ended up with? I'm up in Medford area. This was my last roo, but I've hatched a lot of chicks from him. I have just fallen in love with this breed! (and yes I know he's with one of my fayoumi hens in the photo)
