I hatched them all i wanted to keep one. I read the temp can have something to do with what gender they will be.

This is dad he has never hurt even a fly. He let's me hold him so can't keep any boys. So will just have to gift them. Dang all that hard work of carrying for them for nothing . But it was fun and I learned a lot.

Yep all are boys. Just the luck of the draw. The dad is a beautiful Buff Orpington X Barred Rock cross.

If you had any girls some will be Barred, & some won't be Barred since the father carries one copy of the barring gene. If he carried 2, all offspring would be barred.

Barred is the type of coloring right ? I'm only a year into owning chickens so still learning. I was so exited some of these were black. I definitely want black mixed hens .
