How old? Is there one picture of each bird? These are my guesses:

Since they are five weeks old the first “unsure” is definitely a cockerel

I just didn’t know if some pullets at that age can have big combs too

They can depending on the breed but they aren’t usually very red. I have been tricked by combs so I always wait for male specific feathering. When you compare them to your pullets of the same breed it is another good indication. I have a 12 week old cockerel right now who looked like yours at six weeks. The pullets of the same breed that were three weeks older had much smaller combs.
