I hatched these from eggs I got from RedRooster Farm here on BYC. They were Double Barred lemon Cuckoo Orpington eggs
of 6 hatched one passed.
These 5 will be 8 wks in a couple of days
Here they are
1. Light Lemon Cuckoo Orpington

2. Dark lemon cuckoo Orpington, not seeing any cuckoo or barring.

3. Another light colored bird can't see any cuckoo patterning

4. Another darker chick can't see any cuckoo

5. and last but not least

I am new to the Lemon Cuckoo so please correct me if i am wrong about not seeing the cuckoo pattern in the last 4. I hatched out a black sexlink from an EE Roo over a Barred hen and she has the same sheen to her feathers as the last four and is not barred.
here is a pic for feather comparison.

I dont see any barring either, they almost look darker than they should be, more buff than Lemon.
Your first chick looks like a roo. Almost looks like they are sexlinked, barred roos/non-barred hens. You should PM RedRooster Farm with some pictures and ask if they had a non-barred rooster with thier hens.

Did that she has only barred Roos covering lightly barred hens, she said she is disappointed because they are all supposed to be barred.
I think she is in the first generation breeding and still breeding out the non barred!
