What gender? EE X Barred Rock

Chick was hatched from a Barred Rock egg,but has pea comb, so its believed that the rooster was an EE.

The chick looks solid black with a yellow spot on the head.

What color are its legs? How old is it? So far it just sounds like an EE x Barred rock indeed.

What color was the EE roo?

I hatched out eggs from a Mostly Red Frizzled EE roo x a Barred Rock hen and ended up with black sex-links. All the solid black ones were hens and the ones with the spot on the head were cockrels.

No clue what color the EE was.
And I cant remember off the top of my head the color of the legs, real helpful arent I,lol

Its only a few days old.
I take and post a picture of the chick tomorrow.

It is a male, they are sex-linked. I've done the same cross. Females would be a solid color, usually black.
