Hi I'm a new chicken owner and I love them very much! I am having a problem. My 6 month old chicken just started randomly crowding! She doesn't do it very much, and has only been doing it for 2 days now.

Before this we thought she was female because of her small tail. She dose not crow in the morning, and I know that some female chicken can crow. I would love to know what other think. Thank you all for your time :)

Hen. But would love to see a better side picture before I put a big bet on it.

Welcome!

In my experience, hens that crow are usually older and if they are crowing at 6 months, they are usually boys. Please do not make any decisions based on this but he looks like a boy to me.
