This bird is 4 months old in these pictures. I was told she was a girl but my husband thinks its a boy. So any help on whether this is Victoria or Victor will be greatly appreciated.

Definitely a boy. The red on the wings is a dead giveaway.

Also, your laddie is likely an EE, not an Ameraucana.

These experienced people know more than me, but my EE roosters are about 2 weeks younger than yours and look much more like roosters. I first guessed yours as a hen because of being older and not having the feathering or the large comb yet. Red on the wing is a rooster sign, though.

Here's two of mine at about 13-14 weeks

these are some of my EEs came anyone help with what color they would be called and if they are hens

op's is 1000% cockerel

Quote: EE colors don't have names, not unless they are solid colored ones, which you don't see too often. They are of mixed genetics and come in hundreds of wild color patterns.

Rose66, your Easter Egger *not Ameraucana* is a cockerel.

Thanks for all the help with my question. So Ameraucana Victoria is now EE Vic, that's okay. But I'm curious as to why the red on the wings means a boy? Are there no girls with red on their wings?

Thanks!

that red coloring in that pattern is a cockerel only thing...the color isnt the only thing that says cockerel its the comb and the tail as well
