What gender is this chicken?

I've previously posted about stevie, my 5 month old (approx) chicken, but lately I'm starting to wonder if stevie is a rooster. Lately stevie has been a bit aggressive and has made some sounds that could have been attempts at crowing. Please help I picked out the companion chicken I wanted and was about to buy her when I got a call that stevie had "possibly crowed" YIKES!

Sorry to hear that but I think Stevie might be a rooster. The tail looks like a rooster tail and crowing is a pretty big factor. But i'm not a hundred percent sure.

Ok thank you for your input I've never had a chicken before so this is all new to me is there anyway to prevent stevie from crowing too much in a humane way that you know of?

Alright thank you so much I was thinking a no crow collar with a bow tie would be cute, though the bow tie might be annoying after a while so I might take that off. Thanks!
