So we recently bought a duck for the first time and we are almost positive she’s a Pekin, we just don’t know what gender it is. She turned a week old today and we couldn’t find any ways to tell the gender that early, sexing with the voice takes a couple weeks, and feather development sexing also takes a couple weeks. We also aren’t open to venting. Any other ways to tell the gender of a week old duckling? Also experienced duck breeders, can you tell the difference between a hen and a drake when they’re that young? And if so do you know what gender it is?
