What Gender/Speckled Sussex Chicks

I purchased two 3 day old SS chicks on April 24th.
They are supposed to be pullets.
Looking at them now...I believe I have a boy and a girl.
One is significantly bigger than the other, has a pronounced comb, brighter plumage and huge feet! The tail feathers are carried high.
The other is smaller and lighter. Dainty feet. Has a smaller comb. Long tail feathers are carried horizontal.
I have to figure out how to upload images as I am a new forum member.

It sure sounds like you have one of each. Maybe you could post a picture of them together.

As awkward as it feels posting a picture of my toilet....this is the most recent picture of the kids. I must say they had a ball sliding off the edge and jumping back up over and over again. The cat made sure no one was being too pushy.
I'll try to get a better picture posted.

Hey I have two exactly like them same description to the letter! lol I thought the differences in mine was due to trouble hatching, I had to rescue both of mine from there shells and they had a rough start, Maybe not! I will be very interested to see what folks say, sorry that I can't help you with the sexing because Im lost when it comes to them.

Their head is what gives it away the most to me. I can not see the ones head bit the one I can see I think it is a hen.

I can't see their combs well on a pic you posted here. but, I would say you have one roo & one hen from the pics of your BYC page. They are very cute!

A friend of mine has agreed to take the male once he reaches crowing age. I would love to keep him, but in my urban setting, that wouldn't go over well with the neighbors. I know the female will be heartbroken

Yes, I too would say one roo and one pullet. I have the same situation - was Supposed to have 3 pullets, but one ended up being a roo. Handsome bugger, but disappointing nonetheless.
