For both of them?RIR Rooster and California white hen.
Yeah.For both of them?
.....why did you think they were black sexlinks then? Am I confused? Does a RIR and California white magically create a BSL?RIR Rooster and California white hen.
Right, so theres no way these chicks came from a California white then.A BSL is a RIR and a BPR I think
Wait, would a RIR and california white create black chicks at all??? I dont think you have the parents right, right? I'm so confused.
A California white hen is a cross between a California grey and a white leghorn. So, if the California white has a barred gene then breeding the RIR rooster and CW hen would have a 50% chance of being black, and a 50% of being white.I got lucky and got 2 black. There was a blond chick that pipped but did not hatchIf anything that would make a RSL
Sounds like you know your stuff! Sorry to hear one did not make it.A California white hen is a cross between a California grey and a white leghorn.
